After the Division 2 league match between Falkland 2nd XI and Edinburgh 2nd XI on July 12th, Edinburgh CC complained about the behaviour of Falkland’s captain, Brian Watson; ESCA decided to charge him with the following level 3 offence:
“Threat of assault on another player, team official, match official or spectator.”
In replying to this charge Falkland CC in turn accused Adnan Jaffery of raising his bat to an opponent. ESCA charged him with the same offence. |

Annual Dinner - Sept 26th |

As advertised at the start of the season, ESCA's dinner and Awards night will take place at Prestonfield Golf Club on Friday Sept 26th.
The cost will remain at £25. There will be a set menu with a vegetarian choice.
Clubs are invited to make bookings now to Jim Brims (

We will announce the winners of the Fair Play awards as soon as possible after Sept 6th - please get us your votes by Saturday if you haven't done so already.
